Giuseppe Masia's career includes 23 albums, a DVD and numerous evenings in the squares of Sardinia. His adventure in the world of cabaret began in 1991, when the record producer Giò Leonardi released his first fused cheese album. The success is immediate: in 1993 he released his second album Buffa!, Which remains the best -selling album of all his discography.
In 1995 he released his third album called Cau & Boi, where the musical arrangements of the songs are very treated, even if he is not the success of funny!. In 1996 he presented himself with an album recorded with his group The Osi d'Uri, entitled Fishing Pascolo (the first album where Giuseppe Masia begins to make musical parodies). In 1997 Supramont was published. The title of this album recalls the figure of the Sardinian superhero that helps citizens in everyday problems. In this album it is also possible to find Nero, a song against the fires sung together with Andrea Parodi.
In 1998 Radio Masia was released: this album describes the parody of a radio station, with new musical parodies and famous people.
2000 is the year of N € Uro, an album that brings much better notoriety to Masia, thanks also to the song Albarabbere. In 2002 Masia released the Sardinia album Campagna. The album title recalls the popular broadcast of Videolina Sardegna sings. Here Masia in collaboration with Giuliano Marongiu and Maria Pintore of Radio International, shows up all his characters (including Agospino, the Tenores of Britti, the Muratori, Sandro Cau and Neoneli for Casu).
In 2003 the Sardinian album of the end of the season was released, with nine unpublished tracks. In 2004 the double album better live was released … than from the dead; In the first CD there are new unpublished tracks, in the second CD there is a review of his best known songs. In 2005 Masia published his first DVD called Telemasia, where he describes his life in an ironic way, in addition to videos taken from the transmission of All Music Music Zoo. 2006 is the turn of Trusarò: this album has the particularity of not Presenting musical parodies, but only self -produced songs in addition to Peter Pau, a new Sardinian superhero.
