On Friday 31 January in Alghero special evening dedicated to “Our kitchen of home”, the new book by Luca Pappagallo, the web star cook and the founder of Cookaround and animator of the portal “Casa Pappagallo”. To converse and duet in the stove with Luca Pappagallo there will be the journalist and historian of the kitchen Giovanni Fantello, author of the award -winning “Grazia Deledda and food”.
The event will also be attended by the Galavera cellars of Usini who will offer the public a glass of their wines.
The appointment is for 18.30 in the patio de “Lo Quarter” (Largo San Francesco).

In the new book Luca Pappagallo opens the doors of his cuisine to explore the roots of the Italian tradition – made by grandparents and grandparents of yesterday and today, but also by all those who are passionate about authentic and sincere flavors.
The recipes were born on the stove of the house, prepared with the typical ingredients of our land, pinned on the notebooks handed down to the family, memory of hands in pasta and tastings halfway through cooking.
From fish cannelloni to the Dolce Casatiello, from the cotechino in crust to the Carabaccia, from the Pasqualina cake to the Neapolitan Migliaccio, passing through the bellows, the husbands, the overflow: a tasty collection of dishes for all occasions, that it is a quick dinner or commanded holidays. The best way to bring our history to the table, celebrating one dish at a time the all -Italian joy of being together.

The event is one of the previews of the other side of the sea, the festival organized by the Itinerandia Association with the collaboration of the Cyrano Library and the patronage and support of the Alghero Foundation, the Municipality of Alghero, the Municipality of Putifigari and Chamber of Commerce.
